Loneby skewsmeComment by bmartuch: Really nice capture. You did an excellent job on this one. It almost looks like a painting that would be hanging on the wall of a hunting lodge. I gave it a 7. |

Loneby skewsmeComment by xianart: a very nice image indeed. the sense of menace is palpable. the colours here work really well. if the bottom left foreground were only slightly darker, that would help to bring the viewer's eye to the wolf with more power and directness.
well done. |

Loneby skewsmeComment by Melethia: Preserve or not, you definitely captured the "wild" essence of this beast in my opinion. And what a gorgeous animal it is, too. Also kinda neat the way that branch curves to reflect the curve of the wolf's back and hindquarters. |

Moonlight Pastoraleby skewsmeComment by jaysonmc: Uh Oh, pop art. Na, this is good stuff. It's hard to wrap my brain around sometimes, but I like the ideas here. The accents of color, the boldness of yellow and the subdued green really work well. Compositional it is near perfect, sure there is the cut off cow, but I realize that is the intent. There is a difference between missing the composition because of "mistakes" and missing the composition because of "intent". I see alot of intent here. The only compostion "mistake" I see here is the flower covering the house.
This is one of those photos that is more than just the exposure, lighting, composition. People who do not understand that I think are just missing out on the point. Photography doesn't have to be all mechnical. You have a special photo here. It's purposeful without being just a gimmick. A wonderful treat to see. Simply surreal. |

Loneby skewsmeComment by Cantique: Though this is a bit soft in focus I still think it is special in its subject and its palette of winder color. |
