Lovely little bird with a great catchlight in his eye. He looks suspicious. Not sure I like the fading border, especially as his tail seems to have been caught in it, although it's possible there were some OOF leaves along the bottom of the shot creating that ghosty look. I usually try to fix that by burning and cloning when it's this subtle.

I think this is a great shot, but it doesn't communicate poverty too much to me. It's beautiful though. :) Love the colors.
