Highway to Hellby svt_gEEkComment by ddng: Really don't like this photo I'm sorry to say. The colours are too hectic and it just doesn't say anything to me! |

Supernovaby svt_gEEkComment by docurrie: Concept is okay, however, I would have liked it better if there wasn't so much black and more a larger supernova. |

Supernovaby svt_gEEkComment by ginjer: This image doesn't do much for me. The focus is soft, the colors don't pop, and there is too much empty space. Message edited by author 2006-01-11 17:21:31. |

Supernovaby svt_gEEkComment by ibkc: Simply stunning... the composition of this photograph blows away similiar firework displays in that it concentrates on the beauty of the individual birth of a beautiful shape. It takes me back to a time when things more simple and reminds me of a work by Ansel Adams. Each small flare reaches out and speaks to me as if to say "I'm free! I'm free!" and at the same time blossoms with independence. You have shown the symbolism of the new year and also that of the fourth of july. The birth of this sphere could represent the birth of a new year or new beginning, while the flares screams of freedom could represent our country and the celebration of the 4th of july. This is a timeless photograph that will be spoken of for generations to come. I only pity the other images that have been shadowed by this work of art. |
