Great macro. Only gripe would be the soft focus around the edges. Perhaps a different color background would work better than white too. The lighting is nice and the texture is great. That's probably what turned some people off though. It's a bit icky looking, but I think it's cool. Simple, effective border. Very nice score for a macro on dpc too. The contrast and saturation is obviously really high... I wonder if you couldn't lighten it a tad.

nicely done. Great subjects. I was wondering why the guitar was included into the shot, but I like the fact that it is included. Without the guitar this shot would be a bit bland.
