Nice idea but the light on the right side is a little to clearly bright and defined also you only see such a small portion of what I can assume is a large scale of tile. To really pull off "infinity" a softer difused light that didn't offer it's own reflections in the pattern and a wider angle to take in more would have fit the challenge topic better alluding to endless patern.

Outside of the topic though I like the pic and the idea

I'm not entirely sure how closely this image represents infinite, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. That being said, I think this is a beautiful image. It looks so simple and elegant. I'm impressed by the location of the light on the left side, it really adds an interesting dimension to this shot.
