Sometimes things don't have to be in focus for it to be a good picture. It just has to be in focus for anyone in the DPC box to like it. I don't think they are giving this photo enough credit.

Really interesting. The silhouette is a great way to present this ... It has a detached feeling but still tells a story. Most of us are detached from this sort of thing, that's why I say that .... some of us are in the midst of it, obviously. PS: I use noise ninja but if you are already using Photoshop, try selective area use of the "Reduce Noise" function - I'm not sure what version this started but I use CS2.
