Definitely the b&w. Gives it a much more noir feel. Maybe dodge the hat up a bit, or maybe bring the background up instead to create a bit more separation? And smoke...smoke seems to be such a quintessential noir factor, and for card playing would really add to the shot. Still, it's wicked. V. moody.

Yeah, I think the b/w keeps more with the noir style. Well I think so anyway. Maybe a touch of burn on the card just a wee bit, however I do prefer the b/w over colour for some reason.

Really cool, so how many attempts did it take? I am curious though as to the b/w if you pushed the contrast to create extra grain how it would look. Hmm. Nice job its a goody.
