Whoa! Bummer that you didn't keep the orij file handy.
There is only one thing that I see that I would have changed in this photo, and that would be to remove the lock cable if it was your bike. That would complete the "this could be long ago" look.
Clyde Butcher, one of the premier landscape photographers of our time has a gallery in Venice, not far from where you live. My sister in law works for him there.
