The horizon is tilted slightly to the left, I would have tilted the camera a slight little bit to the right or maybe corrected this with a slight rotation in the post processing. Other than that I like the composition and the feeling of loneliness the jandals create in the foreground with background empty of people. This image leads the viewer into wanting to know more about the situation.

great use of perspective! I really like the soft lighting and the leading lines that the sandals create - and what a lovely unspoiled beach. the beach looks really gorgeous, and I wish it were in better focus. I don't think the link to the challenge would have been lessened if the background were sharp. the branding is easily legible on the backs of the sandals... I want to see the outlines of the trees with a crispness approaching that. (7)
