Have to first say, it does bring back a memory or two!!

The lighting was very well done and the focus points are close to perfect (trying to bring the viewer into the scene).

The problem, for me lies in the amount of clutter and like colors that compete with the subject. Like the mountain (I had forgoten that they were snowcapped!!), green part of the board, green car, etc. then the spinner wheel kind of detracts from the subject.
The green car seems to blend into the board and the mountain making the image look really "full" and the white church combined with the insurance policy adds to the fullness.

Though I like the idea, it might have been a touch better trying it in portrait orientation and without the green car and the blue car crashed into the house (the rear of the car pointing to the place on the board and the peg people strewn about).

It is a very creative way to use a very recognized game in a great way (think how many chess boards there were in this challenge, its nice to see something different but recognizable).

It was the final round of the Poker Superbowl, and Waco Jim's final chance. If he didn't win this, he would never be allowed to play poker again, if he even survived the night. His chips looked good enough to sit on the table, but if somebody tried to cash them in ... hoo boy. He had to win it all.

"Five card draw, gams wild," said Peanut as he dealt the cards.

"What?" he asked, but was promptly shushed. No talking was allowed during the final round. He anxiously picked up his cards. What was a gam? But his confusion only intensified when he saw his "hand."

2 of clubs, 2 of diamonds, Harry Chester, Miss America and Willie Woo.

"What the hell?" he thought. "Who are these people, and why are they in his hand?"

Then he smirked. It didn't matter, did it? He had no choice but to go all in and try to win the pot. Timmy the Weasel folded, but Peanut was in. Time to draw. Not knowing what he had, Waco Jim was scared to lose any of it. So he didn't draw. This made Peanut sweat a little. He took two cards.

With Jim all in, there was no further betting. Peanut had three Aces. Waco Jim put down his hand. "Full house, right?" he guessed. "Miss America's got the gams, so I put her with these two hot-to-trot types over here, right?"

"What?" exclaimed Peanut. "They can't share her. That's immoral!"

"What's morality got to do with poker?"

"Look," said Peanut a little desperately, "she's not into Willie. She likes Harry over there. But Harry's not into women, if you know what I mean."

"Now that you mention it, you're right."

Peanut sighed with relief.

"But look at those gams on Harry! That's two wild cards. Four of a kind. I win." Waco Jim took the money and ran.

For me, I wish there was another element in your photo to maintain my interest. I do like the lighting though. Especially the underside of the egg.

Tough one to score. It is a nice photo with interesting textures, but "an egg on a rock" does not hold my interest for very long.
