Blooming Roseby MushComment by Marjo: I love the delicate pink of the rose and it's well captured.
IMO, the photo would be improved by a tighter crop around just the rose. The black spots are not very attractive and the rocks are not helping the composition. They just pull your eye away from the beautiful subject. |

Blooming Roseby MushComment by Melethia: Ilove how perfectly formed roses exist on imperfect plants. I like this picture better when I scroll so the rose is kinda in the upper left third rather than halfway down (ie crop a bit off the top.) |

Blooming Roseby MushComment by firstduchess: very nice rose, but the background is a bit distracting. I would have tried a shallower depth of field or put something behind it like some black fabric to make the rose stand out, then it would have been striking. |
