The still life symbolism is to Cancer. It affects us all, in one way or another. Fathers, Mothers and Children. Letting go, leaves you hallow inside, thus the hallow shells, a piece of you gone forever. The claw is to symbolizes a grip that we have on life. The soft out of focus whiter sand infront represents the letting go of life, something even a crabs strong grip cannot hold.

haha man i look at this shot and it reminds me of the old ads in my playboy magazines from the 70s! if i flip the page i expect to see an ad for houndstooth flared suits, kool cigarettes, or a datsun sunny. very nice, ill be interested in your method!

I love the colors depicted here- especially the sharpness/texture given to the rock. The concept is a little loose here. How does the sail boat tie in? By choosing to keep your subject on the lower half of your image- the viewer gets a lot of empty space up top and then a boat is as dominate as your primary subject. Feels like it's competing for attention as opposed to supporting the Absolut image. The bottle just seems to be there. Also, & this is merely a pp of this challenge for me- but I would have taken the safety wrapper off!
