Wow the change in color tone is great! I like the fact that the colors are vivid and not washed out. The difference in inherent textures, mountain vs, tree-lined cliffs etc adds to the interest of the photo. Its a very dramatic image particularly with the bright light and deep shadows. I do wish the focus was a little more spread out, but its not anything that impacts negatively. Where was this taken? 8

Good macro, and nice use of sepia tone. However the focus seems ever so slightly soft.

Inside a music box, excellent take on the challenge! I love it! The colors are great but the cropping leaves me just a tad off balance. Maybe a little off the top and a slight rotation to cut a little of the lower right corner off would have worked better for me. Also the light on the left looks just a tad harsh. I'm starting this one at a 6 but I will be back to raise it I'm sure.

I like the sepia tone suggesting age but I would have prefered a much sharper image. Music box mechanisms are excellent pieces of (simple) mechanical engineering and IMO need showing off crisply.

This is one shot where straightness is essential - how could you leave it like this? It's spoilt an otherwise interesting subject to a large extent.
