A Distorted Viewby RiderGalComment by Everyday Renee: I can't tell what the person in the photo is holding up. The photo is very grainy all over all well. Maybe if the photo was clear and you could see the item causing the distortion, it would be more evocative. |

A Distorted Viewby RiderGalComment by spiller: This isn\'t very appealing to me and I think that apeal is a large part of photography. It is an interesting way of approaching the challenge though. Good luck. |

A Distorted Viewby RiderGalComment by moodville: The main problem with this is the major distortion/grain. As the title suggests a distorted view I'm not sure if that was your intention or just the left eye being distorted. It seems to look like a television when you're 2mm away from the screen. |

A Distorted Viewby RiderGalComment by Jacko: Interesting image, however I find the grain way too overpowering ... it's the main attribute of this photo in my eyes. Jacko. |

Hiking New Mountainsby RiderGalComment by wingy: Your photo quality here has suffered a lot. Everything has an outline of distortion on it that greatly distracts from the image. It looks like this shot is only 18k in size, so I'd definately recommend using a lot more of the available 150k by saving at a higher quality level. The overall image is pretty good. I like the silhoutte(sp?) idea, but I think the resulting shot is somewhat uninteresting. Perhaps if the "mountains" were on more of a grand scale it would add to the impact, as presently it looks like that person has a pretty simple and uneventful hike in front of him. |

Hiking New Mountainsby RiderGalComment by magnus: Very nice clean composition! Too bad about these major compression artifacts (your file is only 18K, remember you only have to make it less than 150K) |

Steamed Upby RiderGalComment by jcven: Very good idea for a self portrait... it combines the elements of beauty, intensity, and a unusual setting. I like it, you should find other unusual places to combine these elements. |

Hiking New Mountainsby RiderGalComment by Pidd: This is one of my favorite photos of the challenge. Not so much for its interpretation of the future, but because it is just beautiful to look at. The blue is so blue against the light and dark, and the shooting star is a perfect touch. Very nice. |
