Amazed you didn't get any comments during voting. This is a very good photo. I love B/W images. But for the low key challenge it was not low key enough. The light needed to highlight the contours of the persons face and the rest left in shadow. At least that is the way I understand low key. You should be very proud of this shot. I agree with shutterpuppy that the crop is a little bit too tight.

A severely underrated shot. Thought I would see this much, much higher in the vote tallies. Not sure why it didn't connect with the voters. The crop might be a little too tight, and I would have liked to see just a bit more light around the inner eyes. But otherwise a very emotive image. Perhaps this wasn't classically low key enough for the mainstream crowd.
