This feels so zen, I really like it. Only thing I would change is to put the tea cup on an upper or lower third, this is just a little too close to centered. Oh and getting rid of the shadow would be good too, but it's not a major distraction,

Tea makes the world go round :) Good use of tea as a background. The shadow cast from the light to the top could do with attention though.

Simple and well lit. I like the composition, but the black handle of the knife draws the eye amidst all of the white. I think an all silver knife would have worked better here.
