I think you tried your best to compose this shot, but it looks a bit busy at the bottom and empty in the middle. Try experiment with composition a bit more, and check out other photos, how did they do the composition?

Also check out the settings you can use from your camera and experiment a bit, try to find a way to get the fucus on (faster shutterspeed) or use a different, bigger and fiercer light source.

This is good attempt to capture something different. I think you really need to work a bit on postprocessing to make this even better. Sharper focus and stronger contrast would have helped. Looking forward to seeing more photos in your portfolio.
