spider_eats_waspby TMStampComment by TMStamp: Unfortunately, access further in front of the spider was impossible due to a brick wall in the way. That would certainly have been a wonderful shot. On the other hand, you do see the thick mandibles plunged into the abdomen of the wasp from this angle.

Ultimate Pull/Throwby TMStampComment by giantmike: I like the tilt used for this photo, it gives an extra bit of movement feeling to the photo. I'm unsure how I feel about the selective desaturation. You did it well, but I don't know that it adds anything to the photo. |
