Time to head home.by veganmegan23Comment by tnun: Great timing here. Definition of water, subtlety of colour. (Not a criticism, but I can't help wondering what the shot would have been like with a horizontal orientation). |

Time to head home.by veganmegan23Comment by SaraR: A tilted horizon is not wrong per se, but I believe it should be used carefully and for a specific purpose, for example to increase drama, to compliment an unusual perpsective, or to compliment at theme such as abstract shapes. In this case, to me, it brings nothing and indeed detracts from the viewing experience.
Apart from this major caveat, you have captred a lovely sunset - I hope you took some 'straight' photos, too. |

Time to head home.by veganmegan23Comment by orvaratli: Good colors and sharpness here. But my opinion is that ocean horizonts should allways be horizontal, its not working for me here. Horizontal in another challenge I would rate it high. |

a forgotten bridgeby veganmegan23Comment by DrBlasto: I get what you were going for, but the photo could have been better set-up. Move the camera a few inches tot he right to get everything perfectly symmetrical. The center bar over top of the bridge should cut straight down the middle of the photograph. Then play with the levels, S-curves, bump up the saturation a little... add some sharpening. There are things that can be done to make the resulting image more interesting. |
