I like the softness of the stones in the back but the foreground has so little information due to the decay of age that I am left wondering what I am supposed to be looking at. The stones behind are squeezed so hard in your framing that I get the felling I am being forced to find information I just am not getting. Nice tones in your B&W and a restful sense but for the pressurized framing.

The depth of field is good. Unfortunately your whites are washed out and breaks the overall image down. Lovely idea, but the cropping makes this too centred. No rule-of-thirds were used here.
