Always be aware of distracting objects that may apear i the background of your photo. It is almost always easier to move them than to edit them out. Adding some blue food colouring to the water might have made this image more interesting.

Great composition - I'm not sure what the triangle shaped object is but I like the diagonals it introduces into the frame. It also helps create a greater sense of depth. There are some distracting background elements in the background (towards the right edge of the shot), but otherwise a nice image.

The blurred effect on the frame adds realism to the picture. Nice detail not just for Christmas; it looks very romantic. I love the depth presented by the back candle. If I see it in a catalog I'll buy it.
