This is my favourite of your recent crop of candids - the central character is extremely well isolated from the bustle of the city, but with plenty in the oof backround to give a sense of place. Personally I feel the composition is just right as it is. You have done a good b&w conversion, I am curious as to your method. Good work all round!

not a very flattering angle for a horse but with the barbs and composition and POV it incresases the desperateness of the image. The horse needs a friend, he says.
