Kaiserpfalzby h2Comment by kaiser_chief: Tye composition of the image is very right leaning. There is little on the left, and the main attention grabbing elements, the building, is in the far right of the image, partly cut off as well............To make the rocks and water more the subject, I think you needed a slightly more panoramic view, with some more space to the left of the image to move the building away from the line of third. I presume the rocks are meant to be a feature of this image. But in the black and white, this does not really work for me. I would have removed the lowest part of the rocks, and included some more sky, moving the horizon down to the 1/3 line, and with the space to the left included, would have made a stronger image for me............. |

Wonderful capture. I think this is exceptionally well done. My only nitpick would be the white dots on the black BG in the middle right hand side of the frame. Otherwise fantastic. Clarity, sharpenss, comp..all very well done.
Good Luck in this challenge. |

Sonata in X-Minorby h2Comment by George: I'm a violin player, so the X was kind of hard to see because I see it every day and I don't usually think of it as an X. Also, some of the shadows are too dark (a small part of the fingerboard and half of the tailpiece are completely black). I like the colors and it is tack-sharp. 7 |

Screwed Upby h2Comment by AVP: good idea, nice toning, but id like to see focused screw more apart from the rest, the overlap is distracting |
