seen better daysby MegaColorComment by Phocal: Did not vote in this challenge. I like the photograph but it is way to small and that will really effect the vote. Make sure you use photographs of the max size of 800 pixels on the longest size. If I have voted I would have given you a 6 or 7 if it was bigger. Being that it is so small I would have given a 1 or 2 with a comment about using a larger size picture. |

The Golden God by MegaColorComment by Phocal: Because of the thread you started I figured I would comment on some of your photos to help you improve. I only gave this image a 4 during voting and here is why:
1) While the photo is technically sound it just did not say Zen to me.
2) I normally give a 5 for any photo that mets the challenge but may lower it for several reasons. I lowered it to a 4 because if I am not mistaken the statue is actually a hindu or muslim statue. I was tired of people photographing anything that looked asian for the challenge having no idea what it was.

Where The Shoes Areby MegaColorComment by BJokerud: It doesn't meet my criteria, but it meets the challenge description. Nice photo, and interesting and fortunate use of the Fisheye. |

Where The Shoes Areby MegaColorComment by giantmike: Good take on the challenge. I'm not a huge fan of the fish-eye here. Maybe instead a normal wide angle lens with a cool perspective could have worked. |

ABB 3700by MegaColorComment by oscarburd: Hi from Critique Club ( about Don't think about ABB 3700 ).
Wow! Wow! Wow!
I love your photo!
The perspective is great! The subject also!
Have some ideas for you:
1 - More contrast, more blue. Will delivery more life for your photo.
2 - I would crop out the sidewalk in the right side. Its a matter of visual focus.
3 - I believe a good black border will do miracles here.
Look here a study: //sites.google.com/site/photoscritiqueclub/ .
Hope you like.
