WELCOME...........by trevytrevComment by bvy: This is terrific. Any sharper and the focus would have been elsewhere; the pinhole does well to keep the viewer focused on the lines and shapes and depth -- and rhythm even. The lone figure and the tilt add interest. In fact, the tilt is such that the composition is not leaning to the right but falling to the right. It has an overall disorienting, off-balance feel to it. Just excellent! |

Forget the dishesby trevytrevComment by Melethia: It looks so sad, in away, but perhaps it really is enjoying it's freedom, out in the fresh air with no noisy people around. Nah, probably not. It's life was meant to be indoors, noisy, used. Poor thing. |

Reflectionby trevytrevComment by Melethia: What's cool about this is the way the pinhole makes the reflection more "real" than the real part. Is there just the barest hint of color still in this? Seems that way to my eye. This is really quite nice. |

Peeking by trevytrevComment by bauerfan71: As I look at this, I keep thinking about how I don't want to be the person inside the building... being watched from someone or something that is hiding in the low weeds outside my door.
Feels like the eerie first scene of a stalker movie, but tempered a bit, and kept from being fully scary by the colors and the light.
I really love that this picture made me feel.. not just look and comment about the technical brilliance or inadequacies of an image. Well seen! |
