You gotta get yourself a tripod for exposures of this length. These shots only really work when the car lights are blurred into lines, but everything else is in sharp focus.

i actually shot at a lower shutter speed to get rid of the motino blur. i also was going for the stark contrast from plane to sky. i dont know if it works for everyone, but i thought it fit well. thank you for your comments though, it is always great to hear other people's opinions, espescially when they differ from your own
