stripesby crayonComment by klstover: This doesn't really address how you met the challenge or not - I'm just going on the basis of the picture by itself.
I think I would have prefered to see more than one zebra head - since there are obviously several bodies there, it looks like the single head is kind of sticking up out of place... but I do know that's how zebra shots kind of work. I like the top part, as it gives an environment for the zebras that is natural - it's neat to see no bars or fences in this shot. I agree that the levels or contrast could have been adjusted. |

Pink sonata by crayonComment by RobotBanjo: This is Gerogia O'keefe-ie to me. It was perfect for the challenge and a strong beatuiful peice of art on it's own. Bravo, sir. |

Results from a bad karmaby crayonComment by RobotBanjo: My heck that is halarious! Very clever!! Shoulda scored WAY higher than 5.1! Maybe it's because of the smiley face? (I sure wouldn't be smiling!) I still think it's friggin funny that way though. Very good. |

the ball and the fieldby crayonComment by kari1: ::: Critique Club :::
Hi, my name is Kari and from the critique club.
First Impression - the most important one:
Intesting and totally out of the box take on a portrait .. no person .. no animal ... a portrait of a ball.
Composition:
This is fine for this pic.
Subject:
Doesn't seem to be the thing for this challenge at all ....
Technical (Colour and light):
Have you applied some vignetting .. or somethng like that at the bottom and slightly up the sides or is this natural .... the sky being blown is not helping and the sharpening artifacts on the goal posts don't help either. The blue of the ball is great.
To grow its vote?:
Try putting in something like a person .. I think that may have helped .. or even an animal.
Summary:
Interesting study ... keep up the good work I know that you do.
If you've got any questions about this critique, please feel free to contact me via the PM system.
Cheers
