virgin showerby crayonComment by lynnmarie: Beautiful framing around the flower. The raindrops add a lot, IMO. Maybe just a bit too saturated in color. I really like this, overall! |

virgin showerby crayonComment by sherpet: Stunning , definately one of my favorites in this challenge.....
I love the soft pastel background so very much, against the strong flower. Perfect for me.....
My first "10"..... |

bloemby crayonComment by rox_rox: I'd love to know what plant this is. It is very similar to the blooms of my elephant ear. Because of this I have a great deal of respect for your technique. I tried, unsuccesfully, to get a decent image and couldn't get the contrast right. You've done a great job of representing the texture and light in this image. Nice work! |

Urbanizationby crayonComment by scotthadl: The perspective I get is of a person who pulled a camera out in the middle of the street and took a snap. Nothing to see here folks. Try getting very low or stand on something to get above the normal eyelevel shot. The buildings lead us to a blank wall and blank sky. If you like this street and what̢۪s in it and can go back wait for a day with blue sky and big clouds find a new way to look at the street and shoot again. |

Urbanizationby crayonComment by klstover: You got things framed well.. nothing's tilted.... and yet somehow it seems to me that everything is sort of going to fall to the right. I don't know why - it might have to do with the plants in the left corner seeming a bit too overbearing? But otherwise, this is a great shot. Good tones and contrast... even the power lines don't seem to be a distraction. Everything just fits together quite well, and it's a great example of perspective. |
