Interesting point of view for this challenge. As for the photo, it works well for me regardless of the challenge. There is a lot of tension in the image, from the catcher, to the batter (it that what they are called?) to the onlooker in the background. 9

Great selective desat here. As an improvment, I would probably concentrate on the contrast and highlights in the BW portion of the photo ;) Right now, the sky and the building are almost the same color renditions ;) (6)

Great stop action. The timing and expressions are perfect. The slight blur of the ball and nothing else looks good. I like the amount of space you've left around the people. DOF is good and exposure is good. Well done.

I sure hope that's a weirdly painted wall in the background and not a horribly over-processed sky. As for the main subjects, the guys are nice and sharp and stand out beautifully from the background. Nice action capture!
