FudgeHeart - Love, 2003by taljComment by rmezzo: I like this but I think theres too much negative space on the right. Bringing the subject more into the frame or maybe a square crop might look better. |

Room For Moreby taljComment by colorcarnival: I'm sure some people love it, but for me, there's too much empty space. It's probably good if you are going to have an ad made out of it. I do love the clarity of the sticks and how well they contrast against the dark background. |

Inside The Petalsby taljComment by rinac: Oh boy... those votes were harsh! I don't agree that the dof was too tight at all. In fact, it's the shallowness that's so appealing. Add that to the smashing colour and it's a recipe for beauty.

An Englishmans Home...by taljComment by rinac: I think I see where you were going with this... *tilts head down then up* ... somehow, the composition just feels right diagonally. Regardless of tilt, this is quite an exceptional image. The 5+ votes tell the story. Makes me wonder though... when IS it appropriate to tilt? Seems to unnerve people a lot, doesn't it? :) |

Room For Moreby taljComment by Rino63: more than a minimalist photo is a minimal photo. the subject on the left border and the black that fill the frame have a true charm. the only little problem that I can see is the very small reflection on the low side of the glass. 7 |
