This shot could have benefitted greatly by taken it closer to sunset/sunrise. The high overhead sun has forced you to use a faster shutter speed, and has also blown out the highlights on the falls a bit.
In late afternoon in lower light, with a slower shutter, you might have been able to make the water more interesting (silky and blurred), and could have got more colour out of the more subdued lighting (richer greens).
