Really great skiing photo. Captures the feeling of powder skiing so well. 9.

WOnderful shot. Just wish there was a little more contrast and detail in the moving snow around the skier.

Comment by GrayGhost:
Beautiful mountains and nice timing - too bad the skier is somewhat obscured. Overall image feels too gray, maybe suffers from some flare and snow mist? Wish for more blacks and better foreground sharpness.

Bonus points for taking your camera with you. Nice getting the crystal snow reflection, too.

Comment by Rikki:
I love his movies and his cinematography. Photos through the eyes of Warren Miller is best described by the photo that is in front of my screen. What a wonderful capture. The virgin snow, the dizzying heights, the pureness of the colors... all point to a man we all know so much. As a suggestion, the crop could be improved by placing the subject in the thirds and not so much to the right in addition to an adjustment of levels and curves. Great job and keep up the great work.

Radical! What an assignment shot you have here. Great exposure and tack sharp! Great action..is he falling? I would have liked to have seen a little more contrast though..Just a smidge.....
