Terrible.. You should have put the cuffs over each other so they don't use so much room, and then the badge right in front (as the center piece), and then focused in on it from a higher angle. Ack this could have been a good pic.

i think the subjects of the photo could have been positioned a little better to better capture their images within the photo - and made the photo more compelling.

Commentary:
This was a good try. The cuffs a tad out of focus, but this is a Macro shot of some sorts so you do not have much room to play with. My question is, did you want to blur the picture so you could not read the badge? I can understand that.
Besides that the picture is slightly grainy.
