Although you did a great job creating an atmosphere that is easiy sensed as being 'quiet', the photo itself has too much going on in it to be truly 'quiet'. My eye is drawn into all of the details in this photo, the stones, the reeds, the path, the trees. All of this disrupts the atmosphere that you tried to create. Very pretty shot though!

I never got around to looking at this challenge. So I didn't vote on any of the photos or see any for that matter til today.
Had I voted I would have scored this an 8

I think this is a very nice photo. I used to have freckles like that when I was a kid.

The only thing I see that may have hurt your score and I really would hope it had nothing to do with it. the typo on Model Modle... You will get your nit pickers.. Other than that. There really is no way to explain the voters here. It is like trying to figure out why birds fly into glass windows or why dogs bark at moon.
