The brightness of the beach against such an otherwise moody scene really gives this photo a surreal feeling. Reminds me almost of an oil painting. I reall enjoy this picture, and I hope it does very well. 9!

This is the second time for me through my photos that I marked. I am taking a good look at your photo and I'm moving it up one mark from the above average one that I gave it originally. I like it very much. I like the mood that the background sets and I like the way you have the beach illuminated. To me it is a very good photo. Good work.

Sorry for the comment yesterday, it was a bad day and I took it out on alot of people. As far as your image I think it would make a fine entry in a shadows or a lighting challenge, I would crop in on it a bit concentrating more on the building and not on what's around it. However I don't feel that it's a still life just because it's night and life is still.
