LOvely idea and title. The gradual lightening of the image toward the top works well to imply many things. THumb is a little dark, but that's nitpicky!

person reaction: there is a foreshortening of the fingers that is slightly "off" for me ... instead of reaching for space could they have curled a bit and been holding it?

I'm back to add this to my favorites. I think this should have placed higher, although 10th is nothing to complain about. It was nice to see a traditional photograph amongst the digital art. This was my favorite interpretation of the challenge by far. Keep up the good work.
