Ah the green heron again! I agree with you about the spider̢۪s focus but its still a great image Ronnie and the spider is detailed enough to be an integral part of the image so it adds impact it doesn̢۪t detract which is the all important consideration. Its a very appropriate contribution to the challenge, well done again Ronnie

What a great shot Ronnie, you have every right to be well proud of this cracking action shot. The focus is perfect the eyes and minnow are the most important aspects and they are nicely captured. I like the shape of his wings in the background and the disturbance on the water as he takes off. All that against the soft focus backdrop is a delight. What a great combination your canoe, lens and a patient, proficient you, keep ‘em coming Ronnieâ€Â¦

Do they really stretch out upside down then? The image itself is up to your normal high standards Ronnie and no less amazing what you can do with your kit hand-held a credit to you. As far as the challenge is concerned there is not much else you could have done with but inevitably in terms of this challenge you were always going to be up against it so your score might not be as high as you wished for but nevertheless still respectable.
