Your fame is kind of lopsided. And your clouds are in front, behind, and all around. They kind of frame the mountain without the tree.

Well a big hello from the Critique Club!

Gallatin, I think you have done very well with this shot. A lot of expanse here which can result in either a blank result, or a boring picture.

Yet you have filled the area well, and with your use of aperture - you have created a very big sense of depth.

Your location body wise is good, and composition pretty OK - yet i feel the scene lacks a certain snap about it.

I feel the sky could do with darkening slightly, by using a poloriser on your camera you can create gorgeous deep blue skys which in this case would work wonders. In photoshop you could; just use th burn tool or use selective color changes.

That aside a very good effort and worthy of the final 6.09 you received.

I like the warm muted colours and the overlapping curves. I find it a little busy though - wonder how it would like with the sky and the right edge cropped out?
