Emerald Cityby dpattersonComment by jlanoue: I love the 16x9 aspect ratio, works great for this skyline, but way too dark, leaves much to be desired. Try this again next month with a longer exposure and I'll bet you'll have a great shot on your hands. |

Emerald Cityby dpattersonComment by SEG: I understand what you are going for here. However, it is not my style. Too much dark sky for my taste. Really takes away from the focal point. I think it would be more pleasing to the eye with color. I give it a 7 though. |

February - The Month of Loveby dpattersonComment by Adamsw216: For a shot that's been done over and over on this site, I would like to have seen some more stark black in the heart shadow. The book pages are well light, and I like the diagonal lines... but there is some noise in this photo that I'm not sure really helps the image... |

February - The Month of Loveby dpattersonComment by vawendy: I think it would have been more interesting with the ring in color. Also, I would have liked a sharper focus on the top part of the ring. I don't mind softness in a photo, but having that be the only soft part doesn't work as well. |

The Good 'Ol Daysby dpattersonComment by Yo_Spiff: I'm losing count of how many times I have seen this gas station in this challenge! Looks like you were all there at different times, however.
Biggest issue I see is some visible tilt that can be corrected under basic rules. The pole is a composition problem, but hey, that's what the place looks like, can't do much about it. |
