Love those old cars. This looks like a Chevy. Had the Olds sign not been on the grill, I would have pegged it for the old Body By Fisher. Ha Love the tight crop. What if you scooted back and had it way to one side of the frame with the field filling the rest of the image? That might be fun too.

Doesn't creatively capture a shadow for me, although the photo is good in its own right

The concept is good. There should have been more zoom on the boat. YOu see a small object out in the middle of a vast lake.
