When I was voting I did wonder how much difference there was between what might be on a front page in different countries. This is exactly the sort of photo that would appear in a British broadsheet on the day following Remembrance Sunday. My only criticism, and hard to avoid, is that I find the top left hand corner distracting, but do accept that is a compromise you had to make in order to get the statue at the most interesting angle. Hope you are enjoying your visit over here!

I was thinking the other day that the Eiffel Tower has been shot so much pictures of it don't evoke too much emotion in regards to creativity and uniqueness anymore. Not only is this an outstanding shot, it gives the Tower a whole new freshness. I don't give out 10's too often but this absolutely deserves it.
