Exhilaration by escapetoozComment by JawnyRico: Love the colors and contrast and feel of this picture. The person on the far right just looks like he is floating up. Great picture. Wondeful shot. |

Exhilaration by escapetoozComment by Jutilda: Love the movement that's perfectly stopped for that split second. Great silhouettes. The horizon seems slightly tilted down to the right. |

Exhilaration by escapetoozComment by timfythetoo: Great capture. Horizon is a tad tilted but that doesnt overwhelm the image. Perfect timing to get 4 different clean poses mid air. Fun shot. Bumping up to 8. |

Exhilaration by escapetoozComment by sherpet: There are two photos very similar to this one, and both are really good..... My only problem with this one, is that the horizon is slightly down on the right hand side, to the left side, which is disappointing, as I really like the image..... |

A Touch of Vintageby escapetoozComment by yanko: Very nice. I think this one would have done the best in the challenge since it has a rich tonal range that voters crave. |

All Caught Upby escapetoozComment by ambaker: Critique Club Review:
Technical: Focus and depth of field: Image comes across as soft and slightly out of focus. Does not appear to be going for a soft focus effect. Brightness and contrast: Several areas near the head, shoulders, and haunches are blown out with no remaining detail.
Reaction: The composition is great, the technicals are what let you down. I notice that the ISO is jacked up to 1600, yet the speed was still only 1/60 and the aperture at 4.5. I think you were hampered by low light more than anything else. I love the look on the cat's face, and overall a very playful and pleasing composition. I would really like to see this one redone, with better lighting and focus. Do it in color with Christmas ribbon and paper, and you could probably sell it as a Christmas card. |

Thoughts of Beautyby escapetoozComment by posthumous: lovely! I like the flatness on the right side, both the dark plane and the plane of flesh. Its counterpoint is the wall on the left side. |
