Bent and Rustedby JMSComment by Bibliophile: Nice feeling of tension created here.
I think a little wider focus would have helped it out a bit. The left hand part of the wood and part of the bolt seem out of focus. While the rope and central wood seem to be your main focus. It's a little distracting but it's a minor flaw in an otherwise very nice shot. |

Bent and Rustedby JMSComment by whagerbaumer: The color of the rope is rather unappealing. The depth of field is exactly right. I guess I would like more positive and less negative space. I understand about the balance on the bend in the rope, but circles of confusion, even of nice foliage, occupy pixels which could be helping to tell the story.
