Too Difficult by ladibugComment by chrisymurph: Good! Really good! I like the shot. Without the black and white, the effect couldnt be mad. Congratulations on the outcome. I'd give it a.... 9 :D |

Too Difficult by ladibugComment by GrayGhost: Nice idea, composition, DOF, expression, eyes. White pawn is just a little too in-your-face, further away or just slightly further right would be better. |

Too Difficult by ladibugComment by rwouthuis: I really like this shot. The title of the photo is perfectly matched for the expression on the child's face. I think that B&W is a good choice, matching the black vs. white theme of Chess. I've seen this done low key before, but never high key ... I think the high key is a nice match for the youthfulness of the subject. Exposure appears to be very good! If I could offer a suggestion, it would be for stronger focus on the eyes, it looks a bit soft there. JMO. |

Too Difficult by ladibugComment by Fantastic_Machine: Very cool picture, and nice expression on the boy. IMHO it would be better with some pieces other than pawns on the rightmost part of the board (it's a bit too plain). Also, I think a bit more contrast might be of help. |
