Remarks: a fine Toscanesque with lovely natural tones and colour. Not a spectacular composition, but an emphatically appropriate one.
The rich, furrowed soil, so dominant here, afford the viewer an expansive vanishing point made of the subtlest water colour gauze, through which he is to be encouraged to disappear. Magic, yet tangibly fresh! (And, there is, to my sense, no shape more beautiful than the arch, especially here).

Up to the foggy houseby ladibugComment by Paul: Wonderful shot - must be ladibug. Your landscape entry was the only 10 I gave out in that challenge; I slightly prefer the other - but this is mighty fine too. |

Foggy Landby ladibugComment by ThingFish: Lovely sweeping composition with beautiful light. I love the furrows of the freshly ploughed soil and it's rich brown color. The fog imparts an appealing dreaminess to the image. 10 |

Foggy Landby ladibugComment by AbeSapien2: I like how the rich brown earth lines and tones in this fade slowly and quietly into a softer representation of being. Then Fog changes this landscape into more muted tones, more indistinct, less definable, into hills that roll and blend with sky. Be aware of near and far will take care of itself, worry not in the natural order of things. |
