On The Levelby AgaricusComment by Antanas: I was far from being original in this challenge :(
Counted 4 spirit-level tools and suppose it's not the end... |

Daylight Robberyby AgaricusComment by mycelium: Funny, I recently saw a squirrel performing some crazy acrobatics in an apparently desperate search for food. This guy was climbing through the upper branches of a persimmon tree, when in order to reach something on a nearby branch, he suspended himself from his little toes, completely upside down, and stretched downward still further. Seeing a squirrel hanging upside down was really weird, and he hung there for kind of a while. Agile little fellow that he was, he finished his business and continued clambering around without a single misstep.
Anyway. I think the major thing this triptych could have used was a closer crop on the squirrel/bird feeder... something that takes us close to the action and really lets us see what's going on. I liked this picture, though - it made me smile.

Daylight Robberyby AgaricusComment by macrothing: 3 - Good potential. Criticism; frame doesn't suit and detracts too much in my opinion. Obviously size restrictions, but not enough detail, or rather clarity, in the squirrel and his robbery. Good shots, maybe a tighter crop/closer, depending on quality/ability to do so. |

Daylight Robberyby AgaricusComment by srdanz: I have the same situation with my feeder and squirrels. But... I'm curious as to what was the reason for choosing this style of frame - the thickness and the color? They don't seem to be the perfect match with the image.
Also, the individual images could have been cropped somewhat tighter, to better show the squirrel. |
