In the Garden of Globesby magnetic9999Comment by LindaLee: My first thought with this was, "What a very odd photo!" Those globes are so BIG, and she is so small. I find this shot appealing from several angles: the very "otherworldly" feel of it; the decision to keep only the delightful pink as the "color" element; and the juxtaposition of the tiny girl and the giant globes. I think this shot would have much more impact for me if the background was blurred. It is just "busy" enough that it distracts. This photo makes me wish it was a 360 shot so I could look around and see where the heck am I, and what the heck are these big globes doing here anyway??!! 8 |

In the Garden of Globesby magnetic9999Comment by Dave Gordon: The spot of purple against all that drab grey really stands out and makes the picture. It might have been stronger if she were left of center and appearing to walk into the picture, rather than out of it. |

In the Garden of Globesby magnetic9999Comment by goodtempo: i think i would have liked it better all black and white. the architectural spheres are a powerful element in the image, but the single color on the umbrella takes away from the impact of the shapes. |

In the Garden of Globesby magnetic9999Comment by dinn: Nice work but you made the whole picture as Black and White and you emphasize the girl? So my eyes were looking at the girl instead of the shape of circles... |

In the Garden of Globesby magnetic9999Comment by deceptive: Think I would have prefered this without the girl in the shot as it distracts from the shapes. The selective desaturation does not really work for me as again it takes the emphasis away from the globes. |
