My Brother Peteby magnetic9999Comment by dsa157: cool portrait of Pete. He has a very expressive face. I like the B+W treatment. I think though, that you could have cropped it in a more interesting way, removing a little more from his back and shoulders. I like the background space in front of him and that would be accentuated more if he was more off center. great job! 9 |

My Brother Peteby magnetic9999Comment by robsmith: Peerless as a portrait, unfortunately doesn't work that well as an example of shallow DOF, more colour in the coat (where the shallowness is apparent) may have helped. |

Founder of a Nationby magnetic9999Comment by adine: Very grand and proper. The blue light is unearthly contrasting with the warm spotlight on the bronze. Perhaps a more interesting angle would give more drama, visual motion - an angle from lower down below George, making the dome a halo over his head? |
