thanks for the comments. just wanted to add that the white spot wasnt a glare or highlight but was actually the color of the tip of the leaf :) ...

I find the simplicity of the colors and the composition very intriguing. It looks like the leaf is dancing or something. Might have been neat (though it would be a totally different pic) if you could arrange two of them (maybe a yellow or orange one) and make it look like they were dancing together. Very nice pic, I like the red on black. karmat 8
