Film Noir Gun Girlby magnetic9999Comment by kosmikkreeper: All in all this is a vrey good shot. It is sharp and soft at the same time and the tonal range is great. Some might complain about the hot spot in the hair but I don't find it distracting. There are a couple things that, to me, lack to make this photo a ten. 1- if this is role-play then she would need a different wardrobe to fit the character. 2- her expression lacks conviction to create the proper mood set forth with the gun.

Film Noir Gun Girlby magnetic9999Comment by Kha0S: Soft focus, costuming, lighting, and color tone work together wonderfully here to convey period. The contrast effectively pulls attention directly to your model's eyes, which follows on to take in her whole mischievious expression. Soft skin tones, good exposure, and compositional balance have me wondering what exactly she's looking at. My only issue lies with the chain... it seems a little heavy and anachronistic. |
